At Karuah River Speech Pathology, we offer flexible appointment options to meet your needs—whether you’re accessing services via telehealth or prefer mobile visits in your home or community. Telehealth sessions are conducted via a secure video platform and are available to clients across Australia.

Telehealth
Mobile services are available to clients in the following areas:
Stroud, Booral, Bulahdelah, Limeburners Creek, Clarence Town, and Medowie.

A maximum travel fee of $48.50 (included in the above price) applies for these locations. For mobile appointments outside these areas, please get in touch to discuss availability and travel fees.

Funding options
You don’t need a referral to see a speech pathologist—simply get in touch with us directly.
Private Health
You may be able to claim a rebate from your private health fund. Please check with your fund to confirm your cover for speech pathology services.
Your GP can assess if your child is eligible for Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan, which provides a Medicare rebate for up to five sessions per calendar year.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
Karuah River Speech Pathology is not a registered NDIS provider, which means we can only support families who are self-managed or plan-managed (not agency-managed). To help us provide the best possible support for your child, please bring their NDIS reference number, plan dates, and goals to your first session.
