Michelle is the founder of Karuah River Speech Pathology—a service built on the belief that communication should flow freely, no matter where you live.

A qualified Speech Pathologist since 2012, Michelle has worked across Australia, the UK, and Singapore in a wide range of settings including public health, private practice, special education, and mainstream schools. While she has experience supporting people across the lifespan, her passion lies in working with children and young people, and helping families feel empowered in their communication journeys.

After returning to her local community, Michelle saw firsthand the challenges families in regional areas face when trying to access timely, consistent support. Long waitlists and limited services made it harder for children and adults to get the help they needed. In response, she established Karuah River Speech Pathology to offer evidence-based, flexible, and local speech therapy—delivered through mobile visits and telehealth.

Michelle is deeply committed to her community. As a local herself, she understands the landscape, the strengths, and the gaps. Her approach is grounded in connection: working alongside families, educators, and other professionals to create practical, personalised support that fits real life.

At the heart of Michelle’s work is a belief that communication is more than just words—it’s about connection, confidence, and being understood.
